We recommend men wear long pants and short sleeve shirt or t shirt. Smooth soled shoes for easier grip on floor.

Ladies, dress in layers. You may start cold, and get hot as you exercise. Short or long pants are good, medium skirts are also a plus. Short dresses or skirts may feel too revealing for your comfort when we add twists, turns, and/or electric fans. Shoes with a smooth sole and a strap around the heel at a minimum.

Tennis shoes or sneakers tend to be too grippy when adding turns.

Meet Byron!

Originally from Sacramento, CA, Byron has been on Oahu since 2019 teaching and dancing with singles and couples alike. Equipped with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and life of playing and coaching sports, Byron is ready!

Over a decade of professional teaching experience in a variety of partner dance styles. He loves to focus on dancing in tune with your partner to maximize both your joy and excitement.
